Cipher Communications secures Australian and New Zealand Exclusive Distribution rights for DICA Technologies Encryption products.

Cipher Communications Pty Ltd a wholly Australian owned supplier of IT security products, today announced that they have secured exclusivity for the supply of DICA Technologies GmbH products in Australia and New Zealand.

Cipher Communications core expertise lies specifically in the IT security space, and in particular - encryption.

"Through our experience we not only have a strong understanding of the market, we also have an install base of product and the understanding of what end users require", said Mr Tony Chedid, Business Development Manager.

DICA Technologies GmbH is a pre-eminent developer and manufacturer of encryption devices, and a company that has traditionally been the market leader in ISDN encryption worldwide.

Cipher Communications expect the demand for the DICA products to come predominantly from the Government sector, where products of this nature are traditionally a necessity, and anticipate they will commence Common Criteria accreditation to meet Government IT security guidelines.

This agreement with DICA Technologies is another building block towards Cipher Communications' long term strategy of being the pre-eminent one stop provider of leading IT security products to the Australian and New Zealand markets.
